Innocence trashed?

Have you seen a kid picking trash and searching debris to find something valuable enough to feed him for a day...Anything that can relieve his burning hunger......anything that can save another hungry night in the corner of a street he shares with dogs and rest of the folk like him....with a sense of fear..with a sense of hopelessness...a sense of helplessness....and a hardened soul.Everyone knows of his existence, everyone sees him every day at every nook and corner of the urban jungles…..
The cost of his entire food for a day is less than a few rupees......The price he pays to get that? An entire childhood!
How hard can a human being be not to notice the kid’s existence or to just ignore him? A child is a personification of innocence. It doesn’t matter whose kid it is….yours or a street side laborer’s….every child is born innocent. The innocence thats lost in streets....a pain that knows no tears..a pain that knows nothing but fear..a childhood that is lost in trash...shold NEVER be allowed to happen, no matter what.
Any nation that boasts of growth while its children are starving, being sold like slaves, picking trash, begging on the streets, working in fields, working in homes, prostituting is a failure……and every human being that ignores such children is a disease and a walking sin.

EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHANCE FOR A BETTER FUTURE. EVERY CHILD MUST BE CARED FOR. Every kid deserves to be safe and secure…..Our future depends on them as much as our self or our economy.
Secure a childhood....give them a chance at life…all they need is basic food, shelter and a sense of personal safety. And do you have hard time finding one? Just look around in any street in any town.
